"I was introduced to Talbert Building by a friend. We added an outdoor Pavilion on the back of the house. The project included building a main covered area, a fireplace with a built-in TV, an outdoor kitchen, an elevated deck for the hot tub, a new bathroom and a water wall feature. "We hired Talbert Building to "shore up" a house that we had just purchased. We enclosed 2 garages, added a patio area with two outdoor showers, and painted the entire house. We also did a major landscape remodel. The patio and shower area became our favorite area of the house. During the project several surprises were uncovered, including rotten wood and local homeowner regulations. Talbert Building was able to overcome each obstacle and complete the job on budget. "We hired Talbert Building to finish a stalled renovation. Pat seemed like an easy person to work with, which was one of the most important traits we were looking for in a builder. Pat's personal relationships with sub-contractors made it easy to source the right people at the right price. My favorite part of the finished project is the tongue and groove ceiling in my office on the second floor because it finishes a tall 14-ft ceiling and looks fantastic! It's impossible to build or renovate a house without surprises, but it's all in how you handle the surprises, hiccups and unforeseen roadblocks. "In 2006 we purchased a new home built by Talbert Building. We have owned many homes and this was by far our favorite. The home had many outstanding features. The millwork throughout the home reflected exceptional detail and finish. The floor plan and design of the home made for easy living and low maintenance. Our favorite feature of the home was the oversized master suite. The home was flooded with natural light due to the many windows. When we moved in, all we did was decorate.
